Cboe Canada Inc. has partnered with Purpose Investments Inc. to launch Canada's inaugural suite of single stock-focused ETFs. The Purpose Canadian Yield Shares ETFs target monthly tax-efficient income while offering exposure to blue-chip Canadian companies. This development marks a significant evolution in the country's investment landscape, merging traditional equity appeal with ETF flexibility.
"Purpose continues to pioneer ETF structures in Canada," said Victor Werny of Cboe Global Markets, referencing their 2022 breakthrough with U.S. single-stock ETFs. The new products focus exclusively on Canadian-listed giants including RBC, Enbridge, and Shopify, trading under tickers like RBCY and ENBY.
